Skiing in Levi!

Hi

So the exciting thing happened. I went skiing! It felt awesome to be back on my babes
skiing! I skied two days and that was more than enough. I realized my feeling for the
snow and skies hadn’t disappeared. I had a great feeling in my knee and I could do
some nice turns.

While I was in Levi skiing we had the Finnish Championship at the same time. It was
nice to see everyone after a long time and to talk to my friends about the past season.
The weather was good and the slopes were in good shape so the race was pretty nice.

Now I have trained like a beast. We have done sets that I couldn’t get on my feet.
Mikko has killed me in training. It’s good I know, but the feeling at that moment is so
weak. We will start a different training period after next week, this involves a lot of
weightlifting. I am excited because what we do now is killing me. We are doing 4×20
reps with 45-60 sec recovery time with four main moves for my legs. Jerk, squat,
hamstring and quadriceps. It doesn’t sound much but be my guest and try it out… It
sucks the energy out of you. However I will just continue to train hard!

I will come up with pictures soon I just need to get them first!!

Olos driving!

I was Last week with Audi on a nice driving day in Muonio near Kittilä. I have to say thank you to everybody it was amazing and I enjoyed it! A little information about my progress so far.

At the Gym

I got on Monday permission to go back on skis. I will go next week to Levi for some skiing and try to see how my knee feels. I will ski four days and come back home after that. My training so far has been okay. I’ve improved a lot in the gym and my weightlifting is getting better all the time! I had my nice upperbody trainings in december and january. After that my coach said no more upperbody :( That dissapointed me cause I really liked to train upperbody ;) Especially for the summer. But now it’s only legs obviuosly and core.

So now I am still going to train normal before I go to Levi and after that I will have a nice trainingperiod starting which I will tell you later about. Here is the video from Muonio with Kalle!
